Zimmerman to be charged with Involuntary Racism

Image
I not sure if this story is a joke or not but we are living through times when it might not be. The Department of Social Justice is contemplating several charges against the racist George Zimmerman for his cold-blooded murder of the post-infant and minority representative Trayvon Martin.

Why can't you say 'cunt' but you can say 'twat'

An Anthony Weiner spokeswoman apologized Tuesday night for a tirade in which she called a former intern for the New York City mayoral candidate a "slutbag," "c*nt," and a "fu*king twat."

Iconic Ground Zero photo was nearly excluded from museum for being too 'rah-rah' American

Image
AP / Copyright 2001, The Record / Thomas E. Franklin U.S.EH? This iconic Ground Zero image was seen as too “vehemently” American by some 9/11 Museum staffers. Shulan had worked on a popular post-9/11 photography exhibit called “Here is New York” in Soho when he was hired by Alice Greenwald, director of the museum, for his “unique approach.” Eventually, chief curator Jan Ramirez proposed a compromise, Greenspan writes. The Franklin shot was minimized in favor of three different photos via three different angles of the flag-raising scene. “Several images undercut the myth of ‘one iconic moment,’ Ramirez said, and suggest instead an event from multiple points of view, like the attacks more broadly,” the book says. “Shulan didn’t like three photographs more than he liked one, but he went along with it.” Shulan told The Post he didn’t know that the way Greenspan described the discussion about the photographs “is the way that I would have.” “My concern, as it always was, is that we not r...

The Decline of the Civil-Rights Establishment

by Shelby Steele Today's civil-rights leaders swat at mosquitoes like Zimmerman when they have gorillas on their back. Seventy-three percent of all black children are born without fathers married to their mothers. And you want to bring the nation to a standstill over George Zimmerman? The verdict that declared George Zimmerman not guilty of murdering Trayvon Martin was a traumatic event for America's civil-rights establishment, and for many black elites across the media, government and academia. When you have grown used to American institutions being so intimidated by the prospect of black wrath that they invent mushy ideas like "diversity" and "inclusiveness" simply to escape that wrath, then the crisp reading of the law that the Zimmerman jury displayed comes as a shock. On television in recent weeks you could see black leaders from every background congealing into a chorus of umbrage and complaint. But they weren't so much outraged at a horrible i...

When guns are used in self-defense, they should be celebrated, not condemned

via Powerlineglog.com Stephen Hunter Comments on the George Zimmerman Verdict, and Guns We first got to know Stephen Hunter when he was the Washington Post’s movie critic. He is best known as a successful novelist , and he happens to know a great deal about guns. This morning Stephen sent us his thoughts on the George Zimmerman verdict: 1.) Profiling. When the president calls for “calm” in the aftermath of the jury speaking, he is profiling. When police departments call in the manpower, put special command units into specific locations, and beef up for potential demonstrations or rioting, they are profiling. When celebs and rap stars use social media to put out irresponsible incantations to bad behavior, they are profiling. They are, in fact, profiling far more invidiously than anything George Zimmerman was accused of. Their presumption is that the African-American community is immature, impulsive, prone to violence and incapable of understanding the nuances of the case. More volati...

Ya, makes sense to me

For a cop or somebody being assaulted .  In response to claims the officer was "trigger happy," Swain said officers are trained "to shoot multiple shots" and "trained to eliminate the threat."
