The future of our country

The election is getting near not to long ago seemed it might not ever get near. Many people have been saying that this might be a very big election in out history as a country, then there are some, which includes me, think it might be the most important in the history of the country. As of now, the day after the election, it is very close but Trump still has a chance. If he looses the country will change for the worse. I wrote the following about 6 mos. ago and it seems to me that after the last election; but I this a better term for that event is a Take Over.  I watch the news from time to time and I see the craziness going on in the streets. Most, if not all, is coming from people who want to stop other people from speaking or listening to other ideas which might be different from theirs. To these ‘mob’s, for lack of better term, want to take away the right to assemble and protest and air their grievances like they do; free speech for me but not for thee, I guess. I’m not sure ho...

Gun confiscation, Again

And confiscation is what it is all about. This kind of reminds me of the comment by Adam Carolla about banning smoking in restaurants. First you have a smoking area set aside, that lasted a while, then you had to go outside to smoke to smoke and soon you had to be a hundred feet away from the door. Something similar, I'm sure, will happen with the democrats version of gun control. All they need is to get the nose of the camel into the tent and shortly the whole animal will be in. And the way they will get it done is by using the democrate strategy, which is; 'Whatever it takes'.

A New Year, a New House of Representatives

When I first get up I go to the computer to check out the news. Some people go to check their Horoscope; I check the news to see if I stay up or go back to bed. Today I didn’t check the news because because I already new the news; she was going to get the gavel today. Now I know how a lot of Democrats felt on election night, 2016. But in my case I know the country is going to be worse off because of it. They knew the Democrats were going to be worse off, there is a big difference. I’m scared! Gov. Scott Walker turn this state around, financially and the general well being. We were going down the tubes toward Illinois. The policies he put forth helped all the people of Wisconsin, whether some of them knew it or not; and they voted him out, that literally makes no sense. A lot of things don’t make a lot of sense these days.

Good News/Bad News

This is Friday the 12th of Oct. and The Good News is that this is Friday and, for some, it is getaway day for those people that have to work for a living; which is not me and the Brewers are starting The NLCS against the Dodgers. The Bad News is that I will be preparing for Monday morning when I will not be getting up to drive up the freeway to pick up Marisa for her two day stay with us. I new this day would come soon or later but now that it is here, I feel a little depressed. The better news is that Marisa will be moving on in her life and spending more time with kids of her age than with a couple of old fogeys. GO MARISA!

The Left: An Unhinged Mob

Why the Left Is Consumed With Hate

Why the Left Is Consumed With Hate Lacking worthy menaces to fight, it is driven to find a replacement for racism. Failing this, what is left? PHOTO: LIGHTROCKET VIA GETTY IMAGES Even before President Trump’s election, hatred had begun to emerge on the American left—counterintuitively, as an assertion of guilelessness and moral superiority. At the Women’s March in Washington the weekend after Mr. Trump’s inauguration, the pop star Madonna said, “I have thought an awful lot of blowing up the White House.” Here hatred was a vanity, a braggadocio meant to signal her innocence of the sort of evil that, in her mind, the White House represented. (She later said the comment was “taken wildly out of context.”)

The Dems “Anita” Brett Kavanaugh

It’s uncanny how closely the Democrats are following the Anita Hill playbook as they try to “Anita” Brett Kavanaugh, looking to prevent his confirmation as a Supreme Court Justice. Like Hill, Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford is a professor who made her accusation in the expectation of anonymity, never dreaming that newspapers from coast to coast would blazon her name across Page One. Hill had received assurances from a Democratic Senate Judiciary Committee staffer that, in all likelihood, Clarence Thomas would quietly withdraw his name from consideration, to spare himself and his family embarrassment. After all, Hill’s friend, administrative law judge Susan Hoerchner, had reportedly sprung a similar surprise on a fellow judge, with complete success, and it may well have been she who urged Hill to try the same tactic with Thomas. But there’s nothing leakier than a politician’s office, and Senate Democrats plainly considered Hill as a mere tool to derail Thomas’s confirmation with...
