We go to the crime scenes, but when we get there we stand and wait. If we see a burning car, we let it burn if there is no risk of the fire spreading to other cars or buildings nearby. By doing so we minimize the risk of having rocks thrown at us.

Gun confiscation, Again

And confiscation is what it is all about. This kind of reminds me of the comment by Adam Carolla about banning smoking in restaurants. First you have a smoking area set aside, that lasted a while, then you had to go outside to smoke to smoke and soon you had to be a hundred feet away from the door. Something similar, I'm sure, will happen with the democrats version of gun control. All they need is to get the nose of the camel into the tent and shortly the whole animal will be in. And the way they will get it done is by using the democrate strategy, which is; 'Whatever it takes'.
