Boy, do I need some good news. Could this be it?

In their new book, America 3.0: Rebooting American Prosperity in the 21st Century—Why America's Greatest Days Are Yet to Come,1 James C. Bennett and Michael J. Lotus predict America's future by looking deep into the past. They argue that the unique nuclear-family orientation inherited from the Anglo-Saxon tradition creates a culture that ultimately will reject the model of a centralized welfare state that currently grips our nation.

Call me cynical l but I not convinced.  It all depends, of course, on the next two elections or at least the next election, the next one is crucial.

The election is getting near not to long ago seemed it might not ever get near. Gun confiscation, Again

And confiscation is what it is all about. This kind of reminds me of the comment by Adam Carolla about banning smoking in restaurants. First you have a smoking area set aside, that lasted a while, then you had to go outside to smoke to smoke and soon you had to be a hundred feet away from the door. Something similar, I'm sure, will happen with the democrats version of gun control. All they need is to get the nose of the camel into the tent and shortly the whole animal will be in. And the way they will get it done is by using the democrate strategy, which is; 'Whatever it takes'.
